Daddy Issues[1] is the eighteenth episode from Season 9 of Modern Family, it will air on April 4, 2018.

Plot Summary

When Gloria's ex-boyfriend Jorge stops by for a visit, his striking resemblance to Manny makes Jay question if he might be Manny's real dad; Phil agonizes over getting the perfect anniversary gift for Claire; Cam and Mitch are out of their depth when Lily gets into a fight at school over bras.

Episode Description

It's Phil and Claire anniversary gift. But, for once, Phil struggles to find her the right present. His guilt becomes harder when Claire rents the RBNB apartment they used to have in old times. But Phil manages to surprise her with a multifonction item which can be used for every task but clean the floor.

As for Jay and Manny, they mock Gloria's incapacity to understand a humorist. Jay then meets Jorge, a butcher who looks and talks like Manny, leading him to wonder if he is Manny's real dad. Though they are almost twins, they are not related at all, it was Gloria's revenge at both men for their behavior, but Jay treats Manny like his son.

And, Mitchell and Cameron notice Lilly having a criminal streak when she hides a bra in Cam's bag and then is mean to boys. But they will help Lilly and her friends to be noticed by boys.
