Lucas Williams was the father of DeDe Pritchett and the ex-father-in-law of Jay Pritchett, as well as the maternal grandfather of Claire Dunphy and Mitchell Pritchett. In "Dance Dance Revelation", it's mentioned that he did not like Jay, just like his daugher, DeDe. Phil also reveals that his son Luke was named after Lucas, his late great-grandfather.
