Pilar Ramirez (neé de la Immaculada Jimenez-Morales) is Gloria Pritchett's mother.

In "Fulgencio", she and her daughter Sonia visit Jay and Gloria shortly after Joe is born.

In "The Old Man & the Tree", she visits Gloria and her family for Christmas and is making cookies that were made by her grandmother who made a recipe of the cookies and she seems to take a liking to Claire, treating her like a daughter more than Gloria, but then has to get in between the two when they start fighting and soon things are resolved.

She has a dislike for her daughter's husband, Jay and they both clash about how Joe should be named.
